VALESCO is a stallion of great quality
substance and excellent temperament. He is a Grade A showjumper with winnings in
excess of £2,000 and was exceptionaly consistent being placed at the Amateur
International Show in both team qualifiers as well as the Grand Prix. He was
registered with British Dressage and accumulated ninety one points in a very
short time with percentages ranging from 63% - 76% and he qualified early for
the regional finals. In his first eleven outings he was never placed lower than
third and in 2002 he also won and qualified dressage and show jumping he has
also qualified for the Winter Championships @ Solihull. Standing at
Glenwood Stud we have found his fertility to be exceptional. He has
produced some very good foals and has had mares sent back to cover again as
people are so pleased with their offspring.
His progeny have competed at the final of the Burghley Young
Event Horse, won showjumping and also eventing to advanced levels. The majority of which
have his wonderful temperament and movement - people refer to him as "the gent"
He posted double clears in his three horse trial events as a five year old before concentrating on his showjumping career, and has also been accredited onto the BSJA Stallions Silver Performance List, which is based on their own Grade A performance winnings and upgraded to Grade A in 1 1/2 seasons.

Brilloso Also sire of
Furioso Sired more than thirty International and ten Olympic showjumpers including Mexico, Texico du Parc (Spain ’84 Olympics) Laaken (member of may winning French Nations Cup teams) and Furioso II, who was exported to Germany and helped Oldenburg in particular to produce top quality competition horse with winnings well over 1 million DM. More than fifty-five of his sons have been made graded stallions and another of his sons Futuro sired Everest Forever. More than 50% of the top 20 at Aachan and Athens go back to Furioso, he was by Precipitation sire of Irish showjumping stallion Prefairy and grandsire of the great steeplechaser Flyingbolt.
Elf III Was out of an Ultimate mare.
Ibrahim World famous sire of almost fifty stallions including
Alme who was one of the greatest warmblood sires of the world and takes first
place in the jumping index. He
produced Galoubet the World Cup winner and was notable for pioneering the
