VALESCO is a stallion of great quality substance and excellent temperament. He is a Grade A showjumper with winnings in excess of £2,000 and was exceptionaly consistent being placed at the Amateur International Show in both team qualifiers as well as the Grand Prix. He was registered with British Dressage and accumulated ninety one points in a very short time with percentages ranging from 63% - 76% and he qualified early for the regional finals. In his first eleven outings he was never placed lower than third and in 2002 he also won and qualified dressage and show jumping he has also qualified for the Winter Championships @ Solihull. Standing at Glenwood Stud we have found his fertility to be exceptional. He has produced some very good foals and has had mares sent back to cover again as people are so pleased with their offspring.

His progeny have competed at the final of the Burghley Young Event Horse, won showjumping and also eventing to advanced levels. The majority of which have his wonderful temperament and movement - people refer to him as "the gent"

He posted double clears in his three horse trial events as a five year old before concentrating on his showjumping career, and has also been accredited onto the BSJA Stallions Silver Performance List, which is based on their own Grade A performance winnings and upgraded to Grade A in 1 1/2 seasons.

He was imported from France as a three year old being from the best French bloodlines and before this winning in hand at many shows.
