CATHERSTON DANCE IN THE DARK is an outstanding horse, bred from some of the best competition lines in Great Britain. He is a horse with great quality,
a lot of presence and an enormous amount of character. He has super limbs and has that beautiful movement, with that swing and elasticity in his step which is sought after in dressage horses. He is suitable for a wide range of mares.
He is producing quality competition horses for any of the 3 major disciplines as well as showing. He is ideal for crossing with the larger Warmblood/ID mares and also with Thoroughbreds or ponies.
He has an excellent fertility rate, getting some very difficult mares in foal. Jennie Loriston-Clarke has informed us that “His stock have all round talent they jump, are bold and are happy to go first or last”. Dance in the Dark is
without doubt a very useful stallion of high quality to use and his stock are proving this.
Catherston Dance in the Dark is a full brother to Catherston Dancing Storm advanced eventer who qualified for Badminton. He is half brother to Catherston Loviliboi, Champion Show Hack and 3/4 brother to Catherston Gold Storm,
Catherston Dazzler, Catherston Decipher and the mare Catherston Dauntless, winner of 19 classes show jumping & competed at advanced level dressage are also by Dutch Courage.
