Mighty Me

This is the first time this lovely stallion has been at public stud, although he has already proved himself to be the sire of some very good stock.  He has a great temperament, which is so necessary for the sire of ponies and also has very good movement.  He has to be seen to take in the wonderful depth / bone / chest and front he has.  We have had great reports about him from numerous people, who think highly of him including Joanna Mc Innis and Tommy Brash, need we say more.

He is now standing at Glenwood for the 2012 season and we feel lucky to have such a nice pony. 

His breeding speaks volumes as he has many famous ponies in his pedigree.

Mighty Fly, full brother, winner of HOYS and the Royal International more than once,  who had an absolutely outstanding showing career.  Out of 69 outings he had 45 1sts, 20 2nds, 3 3rds, 12 championships

Lennel Strolling Minstrel was by Cusop Vagabond, a grandson of Bwlch Valentino. Lennel Strolling Minstrel, a most influential sire himself, topped the sires rating in the UK for a number of years and is remembered for his most extravagant and correct movement.

Bwlych Valentino legendary pony stallion being the foundation stallion of the British Show Pony, sire of the famous Pollyana  a legend of the 20th century.  No one could have imagined that this pony could have had such an impact on the riding pony.

Whalton Caprice started the famous ”C” line of the Whalton stud.  She won HOYS in 1996 and has produced winning stock ever since.

Sarnau Golden Falcon stood at Whalton stud and sired many successful progeny including Whalton Morning Glory, grandsire to Australian Champion Rhyl Royal Jester and Ridden Show Pony Champion Ninfield Mink’s Insperation.
