Newtown Molls Pride has had a very successful second season at Glenwood Stud in 2020. We are delighted to say that Newtown Molls Pride has returned now to Glenwood.

He had an extremely good 2020 season again proving himself to be highly fertile both natural and AI and has been a joy to look after having the most amazing temperament.

He has an outstanding CV some of which are as follows:

Jumped up to 1.20 in Ireland
Won numerous Ridden & Working Hunter Connemara Classes including: Champion Ridden Stallion, both Ridden & Working Hunter at the Connemara Performance Championships.
Qualified for the Dublin Horse Show 2013 and 2014
1st Cheshire County Show M&M over 143 cm (HOYS Qualifier)

He has proved himself again by winning a 1.10m class after returning home to Ireland after his stud season in 2020, where he has been jumped at home by a twelve year old girl.

Progeny by Newtown Molls Pride have been sold and are competing across Europe and Ireland. His progeny include Doonreaghan Oak - Champion Working Hunter, Lehenagh's Pirrette - Champion In-hand mare, Hollywood Queen Bee - Horse Sport Ireland Champion Eventing Filly Foal, Hollywood Touch of Class - Dressage and Hollywood Super Sonic, - PC Eventing. In 2020 one of the mares that Newtown Molls Pride covered was a pure bred Cleveland Bay. As this breed is on the at risk register, we feel this will be an exciting youngster. We are pleased to say that the mare has now produced a beautiful filly.

We believe Newtown Molls Pride is the only Grade A Connemara showjumping stallion to be standing within the UK.

Doonreaghan Oak (Newtown Moll’s Pride x Dusty Oak x Abbeyfort bred by Ronan ONiadh) as a six year old was 2nd in WH Performance Class and as a four year old was Reserve Champion at Balmoral. Was Champion Novice Connemara WHP, Champion Novice M&M ex 138cm, Champion Novice Ridden Connemara, 4th Open Connemara WP - rider 016 at National Irish Pony Society Awards 2019.

His stock are proving themselves in the UK and Ireland as superb show and sports ponies.

SIRE - Fredericksminde Hazy Match needs no introduction. German National Champion Stallion Licensed Stallion Studbook I in Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Elite Stallion (WE) in Germany. He has two Stallion sons in Germany, one Stallion son in France and at least 18 Stallion sons in Ireland. He had more than 300 offspring in 2007.

In 2007 sire of two year old Reserve Champion Dublin Horse Show. In 2009 he was the sire of Reserve Junior Champion Clifden. In 2010 sire of Junior Champion Clifden.

In 2010 his Belgian bred daughter competed at Pony Europeans Eventing.
