Dumfries 2017

Yet another early start for the journey North to the beautiful Scottish Borders, with three girls on board this time – Senruf Primula, Glenwood Stud Limited Edition & Corhas Misty. You could describe it as a Girls Trip! The drive up was beautiful & all three girls’ behaved beautifully as young ladies should.

Although it seemed that the weather would hold out, it ended up being more like the Australian band Crowded House song Four Seasons in One day!

First into the ring were the two mares Senruf Primula & Glenwood Stud Limited Edition in the four year old & over class. Senruf Primula was 2nd & Limited Edition 3rd, & 4th was Eastlands Lady of the Glen who was previously a Glenwood mare. Lady of the Glen (known as Annie) was sold to Terri Stirling, so it was lovely to see all the girls in a row receiving their rosettes.

Next into the ring was Corhas Misty who won the one, two & three year old class. She then went on to be Reserve Champion to Walstead Page Boy, who has previously won HOYS amongst many other accolades. We were thrilled with how all three girls went in such unpredictable weather conditions!

Also, congratulations to Miss Jaeger McCreath & her Connemara, Bellindene Boxer by late Minsmere Sunseeker who was 1st in the Ridden Class. It was lovely to them both again!

Glenwood Stud is proud to be sponsored by TopSpec. All our horses/ponies are fed on TopSpec Horse Feed.
