NO FOAL FREE RETURN If a mare is certified not in foal by 1st October, she will be accepted back the following year, provided the stallion is still at stud. This is for one year only and the stud must be notified by 1st October, with a vet's certificate. AI collection fees will still be charged.

 

The Stud fee to be paid when the mare is taken to the stud.

   

*When bringing semen from other stallions outside of Glenwood Stud International there will be a £130 stud charge in addition to the keep

• Resident Stallion Collection Fee - £70

• Outside Stallion Collection Fee - £85

• Flush out Collection - £65

• Extending & Packaging - £25

Stallion Livery

• Stallion Livery - £25 per day (including use of horse walker)

• Stallion Livery - £31 per day (including use of horse walker & feed)

Semen Assessment

• Semen Storage - £18 per month

• Semen Assessment under a microscope by a Fully Qualified AI Technician - £125

​Barren Mare Livery

• At grass - £7 per day + £3 per feed if required

• Stabled at night - £110 per week + £3 per feed if required

Mare Waiting to Foal Livery

• At grass (including regular checks) - £60 per week + £3 per feed

• Stabled at night - £110 per week + £3 per feed

• Mare waiting to foal on CCTV - £110 per week + £3 per feed  

• Foaling fee - £295 (Please note this does not include vets fee or livery)

Mare & Foal at foot Livery

• At grass - £60 per week + £3 per feed

• Stabled at night - £110 per week + £3 per feed

Glenwood Stud work closely with local vets, who provide cost effective packages i.e. Natural Covering, Chilled semen, Frozen semen.
